Polyimide-coated fibers have significant advantages for many fiber applications but have previously required hot acid stripping processes to enable high quality fiber preparation. We offer unique processes and equipment that can quickly and cleanly remove polyimide coatings from fibers without the use of dangerous chemicals. Even large diameter fibers up to 1000um or more and fibers with multi-layer PI coatings can be accommodated by our easy-to-use automated tools.
