Fiber Optic Stripping
|
The main sources of lower tensile strength are material flaws that arise during the splice process. This series of products uses a non-contact, no acid procedure to fiber handling before the fusion splice process. Using thermal-mechanical, Burst™ and Plasma Technology, these strippers are appropriate for acrylate, polyimide, carbon and specialty coatings; and result in a high strength, high quality splice avoiding any microscopic nicks or cuts to the primary coating and cladding.
